Energy Star	EER 9.5 and above	6,001 BTU's to 10,400 BTU's	$120
Energy Star	EER 9.5 and above	10,401 BTU's to 14,000 BTU's	$225
Energy Star	EER 9.5 and above	14,001 BTU's and over	$425

 
To receive the reduced Energy Star rate for 2024, you will need to have purchased and registered your new A/C by June 30, 2024.
 
If you already have or are planning to purchase an Energy Star unit of 12,000 BTU's or less, please copy the paperwork that came with the unit and send it to the co-op office. Once your documentation is verified you will be credited for the lower rate on your maintenance statement. Submit your paperwork by June 30, 2024 to receive the Energy Star Rate for 2016. (Dated sales slip, BTU, Energy Star and EER documentation must be submitted.) Please note:  A 6,000 BTU air-conditioner is more than adequate to properly cool any bedroom in the Knolls.  A 10,400 BTU air conditioner is more than adequate to cool any living room/foyer area in the Knolls.
 
A/C Registration Form
 
All cooperators will receive the Air Conditioning Registration form. All cooperators, even those who do not have an air conditioner, are required to return the A/C Registration form. Please return it as soon as possible, but no later than April 30. If there are no changes from the current year, we request that you return the form IMMEDIATELY. This form needs to be returned by ALL cooperators. Extra forms will be available in the office.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be a $1,000 fine for anyone who does not report an air conditioner.
